About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join us full-time, delivering high intensity supports to NDIS participants in the community across Newcastle and surrounding areas, alongside providing training and clinical supervision to support workers and NDIS providers. This is a community-based and work from home role only (no facility-based shifts).

Key Responsibilities

Deliver high intensity clinical supports to NDIS participants in community and in-home settings, including catheter changes, suprapubic catheter (SPC) changes, and complex wound care

Provide HIDS (High Intensity Daily Personal Activities) training and competency assessment/sign-off for support workers and NDIS providers





Provide clinical supervision and support to support workers delivering high intensity supports

Develop, review, and update clinical care plans and health support documentation for participants

Monitor participant health status and clinical presentation, escalating concerns promptly to allied health, GPs, or emergency services as required

Support incident management and clinical risk assessment relating to high intensity supports

Liaise with allied health professionals, families, and support coordinators to ensure coordinated, person-centred care

Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards

Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse

Demonstrated experience delivering high intensity/complex clinical care (catheter care, SPC management, complex wound care, etc.)

Experience training, assessing, or supervising support workers in high intensity supports

Sound understanding of the NDIS High Intensity Daily Personal Activities (HIDS) framework

Current First Aid and CPR certification

NDIS Worker Screening Check (clearance)

Working with Children Check (where applicable)

NDIS Worker Orientation Module completion

Current driver's licence

Robust clinical documentation and incident reporting skills
