About the role

Permanent full time opportunity to provide a 24-hour monitoring and response service to support the safe, reliable and efficient operation of engineering plant, building services and infrastructure across RBWH, ensuring timely response to maintenance issues with a strong focus on patient safety and clinical priorities.

About you

Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values:

- Respond to a diverse range of facilities and engineering requests, with no two shifts the same.
- Work alongside skilled tradespeople, engineers and contractors while building hands-on technical experience.
- Be the first responder for after-hours maintenance issues, helping keep a major hospital safe, operational and patient-focused.
- Use your problem-solving skills to assess issues, prioritise urgent requests and coordinate effective solutions.




- Play a vital role in maintaining hospital operations through preventative maintenance, monitoring and rapid response support.
