Full Job Description

Kogarah Tavern, part of the reputable Lewis Hotels Group, is seeking an experienced and motivated Duty Manager to join our venue management team. This is an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with robust leadership and customer service skills to support the day-to-day operations of a busy pub environment and help deliver a high standard of service to our guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Oversee day-to-day venue operations and ensure smooth and efficient service across the venue.
- Supervise, support and coordinate front-of-house staff during shifts.
- Lead by example in delivering high standards of customer service and guest experience.
- Manage customer enquiries, feedback and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Assist with staff rostering, shift allocation and daily operational planning.
- Ensure compliance with liquor licensing, RSA, gaming, workplace health and safety, and company procedures.
- Monitor venue presentation, cleanliness and service standards throughout each shift.
