Omnia blends the energy of a European bistro with the stories of Australia's best growers and producers. The menu is culinary classics, reimagined, built on seasonal produce and European-inspired flavours. Guests move between a light-filled Conservatory under a glass ceiling, the intimate Barrel Room and a vibrant Main Bar, all at 625 Chapel Street, South Yarra.

Omnia is part of LK Hospitality. Founded in 2019 and led by Executive Culinary Director Stephen Nairn, the group is home to award-winning Omnia, Yugen Dining and Yugen Omakase, together with The Grand Room, all within the prestigious Capitol Grand on the corner of Toorak Road and Chapel Street, as well as Portside.

We are looking for an experienced full-time waiter to join the floor at Omnia. If fine dining is your background and you want to keep growing in it, read on.

The Role

This is not an entry-level position. You already know how a fine dining floor runs. Now you want to be part of one that runs exceptionally well. Day to day, you will be:

- Running your section with ownership and consistency across lunch and dinner service
- Guiding guests through the full dining experience with confidence and warmth
- Delivering menu and beverage knowledge with command. Food literacy and wine awareness are expected
- Telling the grower and producer stories behind the menu in a way that feels natural, not scripted
- Working across the Conservatory, Barrel Room and Main Bar as service demands
- Working closely with the team so service is seamless from first cover to last




- Holding a standard in every interaction that reflects the quality of the room

The Roster

This is a five-day roster, Tuesday to Saturday. Tuesday and Wednesday are dinner shifts. Thursday to Saturday is a mix of lunch and dinner, with one double shift each week. Sunday and Monday are yours, every week.

Who We're Looking For

You have worked in fine dining and you bring that experience with you from day one. You will fit right in if you bring:

- Solid front-of-house experience in a fine dining or high-end restaurant
- Strong food and beverage knowledge. You know your menu and your wine list
- A real interest in seasonal produce and where it comes from
- A professional manner and real ease with discerning guests
- Composure under pressure and consistency across every service
- Availability Tuesday to Saturday, including lunch and dinner
- A current RSA

You read the room before you enter it. You hold your section to a standard without being asked. You understand that at this level, the details are everything.
