We are looking for a passionate and hard working
casual cook or chef
to join our team at The Lake Illawarra Hotel. You will be working in a kitchen with a team of fun and positive chefs.

We want someone who takes pride in their work, has a positive attitude and a growth mindset. We are passionate about producing outstanding food, from pub classics to fresh, seasonal specials.

This is a casual role, with around * hours per week.
n

Qualifications and Experience n
n
Experience as a Cook/Chef is required
n
Cooking in all sections
n
Understanding of stock control and waste minimisation
n
Knowledge of all kitchen procedures, food handling and workplace safety
n
Food Safety Certificate
n
Tasks and Responsibilities n
n
Cooking pub/hotel food in accordance with the menu and standards
n
Placing food orders as required
n
Ensure health and safety regulations and allergen control
n
