Trades Assistant

You'll work alongside qualified tradespeople, helping with day-to-day tasks, preparing materials, maintaining equipment, and keeping the workspace running smoothly. This role suits someone who's practical, organised, and keen to learn.
Key Responsibilities n

Assist tradespeople with fabrication, assembly, repairs, and general workshop duties
n
Prepare tools, materials, and work areas
n
Operate basic hand tools, power tools, and workshop equipment About You n
n




Previous experience in a workshop, mechanical, fabrication, or construction environment (preferred but not essential)
n
Strong work ethic and willingness to learn
n
Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team
n
Basic tool knowledge and mechanical aptitude
n
Reliable, punctual, and safety‐focused
n
Current driver's licence (highly regarded)
n
