Allwood Stairs
has an opportunity for a
Carpentry Apprentice
to join our team on the
Central Coast
.
n
We design, manufacture and install
premium timber staircases
for builders and homeowners. This apprenticeship is hands-on and wide-ranging: you will start in our factory learning the foundations (materials, machining, assembly and finishing), then progressively spend time on site learning how to
install timber stairs
with our experienced installers.
n
This is a great opportunity for someone local who wants a long-term trade, is physically fit, and takes pride in quality work.
To be successful you will need: n
n
Genuine interest in carpentry and working with timber
n
Ability to undertake physically demanding work (lifting, carrying, working on site)
n
Reliable and punctual with a valuable attitude
n




Willingness to learn and take instruction
n
Basic knowledge of hand tools (or a robust willingness to learn quickly)
n
Driver licence (required)
and ability to get to and from the factory and job sites
n
Based on the
Central Coast
(or close enough to commute daily)
n
Preferred but not essential: n
n
White Card
n
Completed a pre-apprenticeship
n
Own basic tools (we will provide tools/equipment required for the job)
n
n
