Job Description
We are adding another Supervisor to the team and seek project management skilled applicants.
This position is based in Cairns, Monday to Friday, above award salary and package with Collins Constructions a Commercial Construction company now in its 11th year.

Candidates must have a minimum of 1–2 years of construction supervision experience.
Commercial construction experience is preferred for this position.
Required
proven ability to manage multipleproject budgets.
proven ability to usegantt chartsto manage multiple projects.
proven ability to bringmultiple projectsto completion on time and on budget.
proven ability tocommunicatewith clients, suppliers and colleagues.
Must be competent in the use of acomputerand a range of software including cloud-based services.
Competency in any cloud-based platform is required for this role.
Mandatory (Must Have) Qualifications
Must have a Certificate 4 Building and Construction and QBCC Site Supervisor Licence or the ability to obtain both in the 6-month qualifying period.
Must have a Current openmanualdriver's licence




Must have or immediately complete an application for aQld Working Safely with Children Card
Have or immediately complete aWorking Safely at Heights Certificate
Have or immediately complete aNational Criminal Check
Have or immediately complete aFirst Aid Certificate
The role requires you to work on:
Multiple projects and therefore an above-average ability toplan and manage
Experienced in work planning and the use ofgantt charts.
An eye to implementefficienciesin build, planning, equipment and labour use.
Skills to manage the desk-based component of the job e.g.issuing electronic purchase ordersand the use of our cloud-based portal including all required documentation.
Supervision and leadership to Collins Constructions workers andsupervisionof work standards of subcontractors.
An ability to communicate respectfully and clearly using face to face;mobile videoand other electronic communication.
Robust track record ofWHS and environmental complianceand recording and the ability to meet standards required for different projects
