Job Description

Auto Electricians with 2+ years of open-cut mining experience are wanted at Emeco's Mungari operation, just 20 minutes from Kalgoorlie. This is an opportunity to work across a wide-ranging fleet of mobile mining equipment.
This is a DIDO prospect for Kalgoorlie residents offering the below perks: n

What your day would look like: n
n
Carrying out all *-volt electrical repairs and undertaking routine PM and upgrade improvements
n
Ensuring all electrical repairs are performed in accordance with Company guidelines and within cost targets.
n
Diagnostics fault finding on electrical systems.
n
Willing to assist other trades on site while working cohesively within a team to reach a common goal.
n
Working with Emeco customers to meet company objectives.
n

What we'll need from you: n
n
Must have full working rights within Australia
n
Hold a current Australian Drivers licence (HR licence being preferred)
n
Relevant nationally accredited Automotive Electrical Trade Certificate
n
Nationally recognised Air Conditioning licence and High-Risk Licence (mandatory)
n
Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment; namely Caterpillar, Komatsu, and Hitachi.
n
Proven diagnostic and trouble shooting ability with respect to heavy earth moving equipment electrical and wiring systems.
n
n
The successful candidate will be required to undergo a pre-employment medical, including drug and alcohol screening, and provide a current National Police Check.
