We are looking for a hands‑onPhilippines-basedProduct Visual & 3D Designer to support an Australia-based children’s furniture business.
The role focuses onimage editing, graphic design, 3D modelling, product rendering and packaging design .
The roledoes not require the preparation of technical, structural or manufacturing drawings , as these will be handled by the client’s factories.
Previous experience in children’s furniture is not required. Candidates with experience infurniture design, product visualisation or IP-based/licensed product design will be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities
- Create 3D product models based on concepts, sketches, reference images and dimensions.
- Produce high-quality product renders, including white-background images, colour and material variations, and simple lifestyle scenes.
- Edit and enhance existing product images, including retouching, background removal, colour correction, image compositing and detail refinement.
- Create product graphics, decorative elements, patterns, simple illustrations and other visual assets.
- Design product packaging, labels, instruction manuals and related printed materials.
- Apply brand and/or IP elements consistently across products, graphics and packaging.
- Revise product shapes, colours, materials, patterns and visual details based on internal or client feedback.
- Create visual materials for product catalogues, e-commerce listings, presentations and customer proposals.
- Organise and maintain 3D models, product images, packaging files and other design assets.
Requirements
Required Skills
Image Editing & Retouching
Proficiency in at least one relevant program, such as:
- Adobe Photoshop
- Affinity Photo
Candidates should be able to perform image retouching, background removal, colour adjustment, image compositing, material replacement and general visual enhancement.
Graphic Design & Illustration
Proficiency in one or two relevant programs, such as:
- Adobe Illustrator
- Procreate
- CorelDRAW
- Affinity Designer
Candidates should be able to create product graphics, patterns, decorative elements and easy illustrations, as well as design packaging, labels and instruction manuals.
3D Modelling & Rendering
Proficiency in one or two relevant programs, such as:
- Rhino
- Blender
- Cinema 4D
- 3ds Max
- SketchUp
Candidates should be comfortable creating and modifying 3D product models and producing high-quality renders from concepts, sketches, reference images and basic dimensions.
General Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Furniture Design, Graphic Design, Multimedia Arts, or another relevant design-related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant professional experience in product visual and 3D design.
- Strong sense of product form, colour, materials and visual composition.
- Ability to create 3D models from sketches, reference images and basic dimensions.
- Ability to independently complete image editing, graphic design, 3D modelling and product rendering tasks.
- Good visual understanding of common product materials, including timber, engineered board, plastic,
fabric and metal.
- Hands‑on, detail-oriented and comfortable working through multiple rounds of revisions.
- Able to manage multiple product tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines.
- Able to understand design briefs accurately and communicate clearly.
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to confidently discuss design concepts, clarify briefs, ask questions and provide progress updates in English.
- Well‑organised in managing design files and assets.
- Proficiency in one or two programs within each relevant skill area is sufficient; candidates arenot expected to know every program listed above.
Preferred Experience
- Furniture design or furniture visualisation.
- IP‑based products, collectibles, gifts, lifestyle products or licensed merchandise.
- Applying IP characters or brand elements to products, graphics and packaging.
- Product packaging design.
- Developing product ranges, colourways, patterns or coordinated collections.
- Working on products that have reached prototype or mass‑production stage.
- Using AI tools to support concept development, image editing or scene creation.
Working Arrangement
- Philippines-based candidates only
- Part‑time remote role
- 20 hours per week, 4 hours per day, Monday to Friday
- 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM Melbourne time -Candidates must be available consistently during these hours and able to communicate with the client throughout their shift.
