Occupational Health Officer - Essential Occupational Health - Mining Experience

We are looking for our next Bookings Team Member Super Star to join our team!

Must have Occupational Health Bookings and Mining Experience to apply - Minimum 12 months

The Occupational Health Bookings Team Officer is responsible for managing referrals, scheduling occupational medical assessments, and providing administrative support within occupational health processes. This role involves coordinating with clients, recruiters, clinics, and candidates to ensure smooth operations and maintain excellent communication and relationships.

Key responsibilities

- Receive and manage referrals, ensuring necessary medical assessment bookings are made
- Schedule required medical assessments according to the referrer's requirements
- Manage bookings through the booking platform
- Answer phones and make calls to recruiters, clinics and candidates
- Follow all MAU procedures, including reporting
- Results follow ups when required
- Maintain excellent communication and relationships with existing clients




- Provide administration support
- Assist with marketing resources if desired

About you

- Solid organisational skills
- Proficiency in computer-based tools such as booking platforms
- Understanding of occupational health processes
- Commitment to confidentiality and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while maintaining effective communication with clients and team members
- Previous experience in medical administration or a similar field is highly desirable
- Experience working in the Medical and/or pre-employment medical industries particularly in the mining sector
- Proficient in Office 365, excel, word, outlook
- High level of accuracy
- Multi-tasking and able to work remotely and part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Mining recruitment would be an advantage
- Able to assist with training staff
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail
