About the Role
As a Dental Assistant,
you'll play an important role in supporting our dentists and clinical team while ensuring our patients receive an exceptional experience.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Confident chairside assisting
- Preparing surgeries, instruments and materials for treatment
- Anticipating the dentist's needs and supporting effective clinical flow
- Welcoming and assisting patients throughout their appointments
- Sterilisation and infection control procedures
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe clinical environment
- Updating and maintaining accurate patient records
- Preparing treatment rooms between patients
- Supporting the clinical team with day-to-day practice operations
- Providing a high level of patient care and customer service
About You
We are ideally seeking an experienced Dental Assistant who can confidently step into the role and become a valued member of our team.
You will ideally have:
- Previous experience working as a Dental Assistant
- Confidence with chairside assisting
- A strong understanding of infection control and sterilisation
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- The ability to anticipate the dentist's needs and work efficiently
- A professional, friendly and patient-focused manner
- Excellent communication skills
- The ability to multitask and remain calm in a busy environment
- Strong reliability, punctuality and accountability
- Good computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
- A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a close-knit team
Experience with a variety of dental procedures and working alongside multiple dentists will be highly regarded.
