About the Opportunity

Step up into a rewarding leadership role with the world's leading sustainable building materials company! We are seeking an energetic and safety-focused Production Supervisor to drive operational excellence and guide our site teams to success on the DIDO project role at Merotherie with a 2:1 roster. This is a fixed term contract until 30 June 2027.

Key Responsibilities

- Operational & Schedule Leadership: Plan, coordinate, and allocate daily production tasks across site teams to ensure target deadlines and quality standards are consistently met.
- Safety First:



Drive a zero-harm environment by leading safety practices by example, maintaining safe systems of work, and proactively addressing risks.
- Team Development & Coaching: Mentor and support on-floor staff to build capability, maintain morale, and resolve everyday operational challenges.
- Resource & Quality Management: Oversee site assets, raw materials, and moulds to optimize resource allocation and uphold strict compliance with quality benchmarks.
- Data & Performance Tracking: Ensure team members accurately record production outputs, downtime, and reworks to drive continuous operational improvement.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner effectively with Production Managers, HR, and external stakeholders to streamline communication and maintain positive employee relations.

Key Requirements

- Industry Experience: Background in manufacturing, concrete (precast/prestress preferred), civil construction, or building industries.
- Leadership Capability: Proven experience in a supervisor or team-lead role with a knack for motivating and managing diverse teams.
- Safety Focus: Solid understanding of workplace safety regulations with a proven track record of championing safe working environments.
- Problem-Solving Skills:



Excellent organizational and time-management abilities to adapt to shifting production demands and keep operations running smoothly.
- Communication & Interpersonal Skills: Strong ability to connect with stakeholders, resolve conflict, and relay clear goals to the team.
- Qualifications (Ideal): Relevant trade qualifications or machine operation tickets are highly regarded, but comprehensive training will be provided.
