As a People& Culture Officer, you'll play an important role in helping Councilattract, recruit and onboard great people. You'll work closely with leaders andemployees across the organisation, providing practical support throughout therecruitment and employment journey.

As thePeople & Culture Officer, you will:

- Coordinate end-to-end recruitmentprocesses, including advertising, shortlisting, interviews, pre-employmentchecks, offers, inductions and probationary reviews.




- Provide practical recruitment advice andsupport to leaders across Council.
- Support recruitment marketing, employerbranding and workforce attraction initiatives, including ,campaigns, careers events and industry engagement.
- Maintain accurate recruitment records,HRIS information and compliance registers, including Child Safe and otherlegislative requirements.
- Provide support across broader People& Culture functions, including employee lifecycle processes, workforceinitiatives, parental leave and workplace change.
- Assist with the interpretation andapplication of Awards, legislation, employment agreements, policies andprocedures.
- Work collaboratively with the People& Culture team to respond to enquiries and deliver workforceinitiatives and projects.
- Identify opportunities to improve People& Culture processes, systems and service delivery.

You'll besuccessful in this role if you:

- Are studying towards, or have completed,a qualification in Human Resource Management or a related discipline, orhave relevant practical HR experience.
- Have an interest in recruitment andPeople & Culture and enjoy providing a high level of customer service.
- Communicate confidently and buildpositive relationships with people at all levels.
- Are organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities.
- Are curious, willing to learn andcommitted to developing your HR capability.
- Enjoy finding practical solutions andlooking for better ways of doing things.
- Can work independently whilecontributing positively to a collaborative team.
- For experienced applicants,



candemonstrate practical experience in end-to-end recruitment and broader HRservice delivery.
