The position:

The Membership and Support Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting and engaging with ANZUP’s 2500+ multidisciplinary members. The primary focus of this role is to ensure every member feels engaged and connected to ANZUP's vision and mission through a positive membership experience. The role is responsible for:

Strengthening and maintaining member relationships;

Enhancing the member experiences across the membership lifecycle; and

Creating meaningful and clear opportunities for members to connect, contribute and participate in ANZUP's work.

Key Responsibilities:

1)Membership Experience & Lifecycle

- Coordinate member onboarding, renewals, engagement activities and membership support.




- Identify opportunities to improve the member experience and make participation in ANZUP easier.
- Support member benefits and recognise initiatives that acknowledge contributions and involvement.
- Support the implementation of ANZUP’s Membership Strategy and associated engagement initiatives.
- Identify and coordinate opportunities for members to contribute to ANZUP activities, education and research.
- Coordinate and support the development of ANZUP’s mentoring program and other community initiatives that encourage connection, collaboration and knowledge-sharing within the membership.

3)Member Communications & Content Coordination

- Coordinate member communications and engagement activities in collaboration with the Marketing & Communications Manager.
- Support the planning and distribution of member updates, newsletters, publications and relevant membership content.
- Ensure communications are timely, relevant and tailored to member needs, while promoting member stories, achievements and contributions across ANZUP channels.

4) Membership Data & Administration

- Maintain accurate membership records and support effective membership administration.




- Work with the CRM function to support member data quality, segmentation, reporting and member insights.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes, resources and the overall membership experience through data and feedback.

5) Event Support

- Support the Events & Sponsorship Coordinator during the ANZUP Annual Scientific Meeting (ASM), including member-facing communications, registration-related support and engagement activities.

Skills you will bring to this role:

- Experience in membership coordination, consumer engagement, customer experience or a similar coordination role.
- Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidentiality and professionally with diverse stakeholders.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational, project management and time management skills, withan ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- We use the following platforms (and other similar) Salesforce, WordPress, Marketing Cloud/Campaign Monitor, Survey Monkey, and Canva (or similar platforms). Familiarity with these platforms is preferred but training & support will offered.
- Experience maintaining databases, CRM systems or membership records, with a strong focus on data accuracy and confidentiality.
- A collaborative and member focused approach, with the ability to work effectively across teams and stakeholders.
- Experience supporting events, conferences or member facing activities.
