First Aid Academy Pty Ltd – RTO# 40920 is an innovative, qualified first aid training centre and first aid supplies store. We build confidence to care by providing nationally accredited courses and other services, including sales & hire of rescue equipment, as well as providing first aid staff at local events. We cater for a wide variety of local organisations, nationally owned corporate businesses, government agencies, and the general public of Cairns & Far North Queensland.

We are looking for an energetic, industrious administration and retail assistant with attention to detail to join our friendly, dynamic team at the highest-ranking first aid training facility in Cairns. If you are interested in gaining knowledge in the RTO administration sector, this position will be a great place to challenge yourself to grow your skills.

Key responsibilities

- Respond to phone, email and in-store enquiries, directing to the correct department where necessary
- Process individual, group and company course enrolments
- Accurately maintain client data in both student and retail management systems
- Process student certifications




- Point of sale operation
- Assist the Sales Manager in restocking and sales
- Cleaning the store and training facilities as part of the team
- General tasks as required

- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail, high standards regarding accuracy
- Sound computer skills with ability to learn new systems
- Efficient and professional phone manner
- Ability to work within a team and follow direction
