Experienced Nail Technician – Casual | Moonee Ponds

We're growing our Lumi team and are looking for an experienced Nail Technician who genuinely loves what they do, takes pride in beautiful, detailed work and loves making clients feel amazing.

Illumination Lounge is a boutique nail and beauty salon in the heart of Moonee Ponds. We're all about creating a warm, luxurious escape where our clients can switch off, feel looked after and enjoy an elevated 5-star experience.

About the role

As part of our nail team, you'll provide high-quality nail services while creating the warm and attentive experience our clients know and love.

Your role will include:

- Manicures and pedicures
- Gel polish and builder gel/BIAB services
- Nail preparation, shaping and removals
- French finishes and nail art
- E-file work
- Providing personalised nail care and aftercare advice
- Building genuine relationships with clients and encouraging rebooking
- Recommending suitable treatments and retail products
- Maintaining detailed client notes
- Taking photos and videos of your beautiful work for salon content
- Maintaining an immaculate workstation and salon environment
- Cleaning, disinfecting and sterilising tools in line with our strict hygiene standards
- Assisting with general salon and reception duties when required

About you

We'd love to meet someone who:





- Has previous professional salon experience as a Nail Technician
- Is confident in manicures, pedicures, gel and builder gel/BIAB
- Is experienced and comfortable using an e-file
- Has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in their work
- Has a warm, friendly and professional approach with clients
- Understands the importance of hygiene, presentation and cleanliness
- Is reliable, punctual and enjoys being part of a supportive team
- Is open to learning, training and continuing to develop their skills
- Loves keeping up with current nail trends, products and techniques
