About the role

We are looking for a person to manage a small warehouse located in Sumner QLD initially on a part-time basis . The role includes standard warehouse duties and an opportunity to learn new skills. This position requires someone who is energetic, motivated, keen to learn about the manuka honey industry preferably mechanically minded.

Key responsibilities

- Receiving, storing and organising inventory with attention to accuracy and detail
- Picking and packing orders in accordance with specified requirements and quality standards
- Operating warehouse equipment and machinery safely and efficiently
- Maintaining accurate records of stock movements and warehouse transactions
- Contributing to warehouse cleanliness, organisation and safety compliance
- Supporting inventory management and stock rotation practices
- Collaborating with team members to meet operational targets and deadlines




- Participating in continuous improvement initiatives that enhance warehouse operations

What we're looking for

- Prior experience in a small warehouse operations, logistics or distribution environments
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Attention to detail and accuracy in all warehouse activities
- Physical capability to perform warehouse duties including lifting, carrying and standing for extended periods
- Reliability and punctuality, particularly important for part‑time scheduling
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a cooperative team
- Willingness to learn new procedures and embrace different approaches to traditional warehouse operations
- Basic computer literacy and experience with warehouse management systems is advantageous
- Take responsibility for outcomes
- Forklift and drivers licence
