About the Role

NCF is looking for an experienced Street Sweeper/Water Cart Operator for sweeping and dust suppression operations on yards, roadways and work areas.

This is a hands‑on role that is ideal for someone who thrives in the field, takes pride in quality outcomes, and brings a strong background in civil road sweeping and dust suppression.

Key Responsibilities

- Must be able to operate a ROSMECH Sweeper
- Support civil infrastructure maintenance tasks in accordance with all works programs
- Sweeping operational yards, roadways and work areas
- Carrying out dust suppression across sites
- Using vacuum and suction equipment to clean out pits and drains




- Maintain accurate records of completed tasks as required by the Team Leader
- Removing water, mud, silt and debris from drainage and sediment areas
- Maintaining clean, safe and organised operational yards
- Protected operation of Street sweeping trucks, Water Carts and equipment
- Ensuring all tools, vehicles and equipment are used correctly, maintained in a safe operational condition and all hazards/defects are reported to the Team Leader
- Completing daily pre‑start inspections
- Completing the correct shut‑down and end‑of‑day cleaning process for the street sweeper
- Reporting machine defects, hazards and environmental risks immediately
- Maintaining vehicles and equipment and treating company property with care
- General yard duties as required

About You

- Current Driver Licence / Medium Ridged or HR licence (Mandatory)
- Relevant plant tickets are highly regarded (Desirable)
- Construction or trades related industry experience with Street Sweeping operating (Mandatory)
- Experience in the use of a variety of tools, plant and mechanical equipment relating to civil maintenance (Desirable)
- Sound understanding of workplace health and safety requirements.
- White Card, valid driver’s licence and reliable transport.
