Springwood Baptist Church invites expressions of interest in the role of Church Administration Manager. The loading is 0.6 of a week.The Church Administration Manager is responsible for managing and coordinating the administrative and operational functions of the church to support the achievement of the church’s mission, vision and objectives.

The role requires a broad working knowledge of business administration, financial management, human resources, WHS, safeguarding, property and facilities management, information systems and regulatory compliance within a church and not-for-profit workplace.

The position works closely with the Senior Pastor, Treasurer, Elder Board, ministry leaders, staff, volunteers and relevant committees and external service providers.

Accountability

The position reports to the Senior Pastor and works closely with the Treasurer and relevant Elder Board committees.

If a potential applicant feels they may be suitable for some parts of the role (eg. financial administration and budgeting) and not others, they are still encouraged to apply. Additional training, adjusted loading, and make-up of the role can potentially be considered to suit the applicant if the Elder Board judge it is expedient to do so.
