Your Success. Your Growth. Your Future at Coleman Greig.

We are seeking a motivated Junior Lawyer to join our Wills & Estates team based in Parramatta. This is an excellent opportunity for a newly admitted lawyer to start building their legal career in a supportive team, gain hands‑on experience across a broad range of Wills & Estates matters and learn from experienced practitioners.

At this stage of your career, we're not expecting you to know everything. What matters most to us is your attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn. We're looking for someone who is motivated to grow, enjoys working with people and is excited to build their skills and confidence as a lawyer.

The Opportunity

You'll be part of a team led by Erin Dawson, who was recognised in the 2026 Doyle's Guide rankings as a Leading Wills & Estates Litigation Lawyer in NSW and named the 2026 Lawyers Weekly Partner of the Year for Wills & Estates.

It's an opportunity to learn from experienced practitioners while gaining exposure to engaging and meaningful work from the beginning of your career.

You will have the opportunity to:

- assist with estate planning and trust matters, including drafting wills, testamentary trusts, Enduring Powers of Attorney, Appointments of Enduring Guardians and Superannuation Death Benefit Nominations
- assist with applications for probate and letters of administration
- support the administration of estates from asset realisation through to distribution
- undertake legal research and prepare correspondence, court documents and other legal documentation
- attend client meetings and develop your confidence in client communication and relationship management
- progressively develop your ability to manage your own matters and responsibilities
- participate in professional development and business development activities to build your knowledge and experience.

What Are We Looking For?

We're looking for someone who is motivated,

eager to learn and genuinely interested in building a career in Wills & Estates.

You'll be well suited to this role if you:

- are a newly admitted lawyer with 0–1 years’ PQE
- have a genuine interest in developing a career in Wills & Estates
- strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate with clients with empathy and professionalism
- good organisational and time management skills, with strong attention to detail

Your Development Matters

Starting your legal career can be a steep learning curve, which is why we invest in giving our junior lawyers the support and development they need to grow.

As part of our Early Careers Group, you'll take part in a monthly learning and development program specifically tailored to the needs of junior lawyers. The program provides practical development opportunities alongside your day-to-day work, helping you build confidence in the skills, knowledge and capabilities needed to progress your career.

You'll also have access to ongoing mentoring, professional development and opportunities to learn directly from experienced practitioners across the firm.
