Trainers & Assessors – Painting & Decorating and Solid Plastering

The successful Trainers and Assessors will deliver high-quality training and assessment, support students in developing practical trade skills, complete required training documentation, and participate in validation, professional development and continuous improvement activities.

Key responsibilities

Deliver training and assessment for Certificate III in Painting and Decorating (CPC30620) and Certificate III in Solid Plastering (CPC31020)

Deliver and assess both theory and practical training

Support students in developing practical trade skills

Complete required training documentation

Maintain accurate training and assessment records

Participate in validation, professional development and continuous improvement activities

About you

Hold a valid/current Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40122 or equivalent)





Hold the relevant vocational qualification at least to the level being delivered

Minimum of 3 years of relevant industry experience in Painting & Decorating or Solid Plastering

Demonstrate current industry skills and industry currency

Have sound knowledge of competency-based training and assessment

Have strong communication, organisational and student-support skills

Understand and comply with applicable RTO Standards and regulatory requirements

Demonstrate adequate professional development undertaken in both VET and industry
