Painter - Parks & Facilities Maintenance

Casual Contract | Immediate Start | Attractive Hourly Rate of $57.56 per hour

Recruitment 247 is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Painter to join our client's maintenance team on a temporary contract. Working within a two-person crew, you will assist in delivering scheduled painting and maintenance programs across a variety of community facilities and public assets.

This is an excellent chance for a trade-qualified painter who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining public spaces to a high standard.

Key Responsibilities

- Painting and maintaining public facilities and infrastructure
- Surface preparation including sanding, scraping and cleaning
- Painting of:
- Fences
- Playgrounds
- Public amenities and toilet facilities
- General maintenance and related duties as required
- Working safely within a two-person maintenance crew
- Adhering to workplace health and safety procedures at all times

To Be Considered You Must Have





- Trade Qualifications in Painting and Decorating
- Current C Class Driver's Licence
- Current Construction Industry White Card (General Safety Induction Card)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
- Excellent communication skills and professional presentation
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical assessment
- Ability to pass a criminal history check
