Position Overview
We are currently seeking a motivated and detail oriented Assistant Research Analyst to join our Residential Valuations team on a full time or part time basis. This role will primarily support our Prestige Residential & Projects Valuations team through in depth research, data analysis, and market monitoring. It offers a agile blend of office based research and site visits, providing valuable exposure to Melbourne’s residential property market and the opportunity to work closely with a team of experienced property professionals.
Core Responsibilities
- Conduct property market research and maintain Charter’s residential database.
- Analyse residential market data to support property valuations and research projects.
- Prepare data outputs including tables, charts, and graphs to illustrate market trends and findings.
- Develop detailed project profiles for inclusion in valuation reports.
- Liaise with key stakeholders such as real estate agents, planners, architects, and developers.
- Proactively build and maintain external relationships to source property market data and insights on new and emerging residential projects.
Position Requirements
- A tertiary qualification in Property, Valuations, Research or a related discipline, or a minimum of two years’ experience in a property related role.
- Demonstrated interest or experience in residential property or research.
- Strong investigative and internet based research skills.
- High attention to detail with the ability to validate and manage data from multiple sources.
- Excellent analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills with a proactive, outgoing, and confident approach to relationship building.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
