About the Roles

As a Classroom Teacher, you will plan and deliver engaging, high-quality learning experiences aligned with the Australian Curriculum and Good Shepherd’s learning principles.

Depending on your experience and preferences, opportunities are available across JP, MP and UP , with both permanent and contract positions on offer.

You will:





- Plan and deliver engaging and differentiated learning experiences that support a diverse range of students.
- Create a positive, secure and inclusive classroom where students feel supported to learn and grow.
- Use contemporary teaching practices, assessment and data to inform student learning and provide meaningful feedback.
- Apply effective classroom and behaviour management strategies.
- Work collaboratively with teaching colleagues, Learning Enrichment, Co-Educators and school leadership.
- Build positive relationships with students, parents and the broader school community.
- Participate in professional learning and contribute to the wider life of the school.
- Support and uphold Good Shepherd’s Lutheran ethos, values and Christian learning environment

About You

We are looking for teachers who bring enthusiasm, strong communication skills and a genuine commitment to helping students achieve their potential.

You will have:

- Current registration with the Teachers Registration Board of South Australia.
- A current Working with Children Check.
- Current First Aid for Schools certification.
- Current mandatory reporting certification.
- Demonstrated ability to teach effectively within a primary classroom.
- Sound knowledge of contemporary primary teaching practices and the Australian Curriculum.
- The ability to create differentiated learning experiences that meet individual student needs.
- A collaborative, flexible approach and positive growth mindset.
- A willingness to uphold and contribute to the values and Lutheran ethos of Good Shepherd.
- Experience with Christian Studies, inquiry-based learning, and multi-age learning environments would be advantageous but is not essential.
