About the Role
St Peters Lutheran College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Physics Teacher to join our Secondary Years team for a part time, contract commencing Term 1 2027.
In this role, you will deliver engaging Physics learning experiences to students across Years 10-12, creating engaging and inclusive learning experiences that support academic growth and a lifelong love of learning. You will contribute to curriculum development, student wellbeing, and the wider College community.
- Location: Indooroopilly, Brisbane
- Start Date: Term 1 2027
- Employment Type: Part time (12 hours per week), 1 year contract

What You Bring
- A relevant qualification in Education with teaching subject qualifications in Science.
- Current Queensland College of Teachers (QCT) Registration.
- Demonstrated experience teaching Physics in a secondary school setting.
- Strong understanding of curriculum, assessment and reporting requirements within a secondary school environment.
- Strong classroom management, organisational and time management skills.
- Commitment to the College's Christian ethos and values.

St Peters Lutheran College (Indooroopilly) is a P-12 coeducational day and boarding college of 2,250 students. The Lower Primary with Years Prep-4 has three classes at each level. The Upper Primary provides a program tailored to meet the needs of students in Years 5–6. St Peters Junior High offers Years 7-9 students a program to support young adolescents. The Senior School provides a program for Years 10–12 with the International Baccalaureate Diploma offered alongside VET and QSA courses.
