About the Opportunity

Randstad's client is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Sales Representative to join their team. This role combines outbound business development with consultative solution-selling. You will actively prospect new opportunities while scoping requirements to deliver tailored product solutions to clients in the building and construction industries.

Key Responsibilities

- Business Development & Prospecting: Perform market research and execute outbound cold calls and email campaigns to generate new leads and expand client coverage.

- Consultative Solution Selling: Scope customer needs, match best-fit products to project requirements, and deliver accurate pricing and quotes via phone and email.

- Relationship & Account Management: Provide high-calibre customer service to nurture repeat business, managing the end-to-end client journey.

- Sales Targets: Work strategically to meet and exceed monthly revenue and activity-based KPIs as a core Sales Representative.

- Database Management:



Keep the CRM meticulously updated with call notes, customer details, lead stages, and account activity.

About You

- Sales & Resilience: A background in sales, cold calling, or proactive phone-based account management with a resilient, target-driven mindset.

- Exceptional Communication: Top-tier verbal and written communication skills with a natural ability to build rapport and deliver outstanding customer service.

- Industry Knowledge (Bonus): Prior experience selling into construction, building supplies, trades, or industrial sectors is advantageous, though not essential .

- Trainable & Eager: Comprehensive product and industry training will be provided.

- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable navigating CRM software, email platforms, and internal databases.
