Project Details:
Client is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Project Manager and the local Projects team in Brussels. This is a coordination-focused role rather than a Project Manager position, providing administrative, financial, reporting, and health & safety support across multiple infrastructure and capex projects. The successful candidate will work within a highly structured and process-driven data centre environment, ensuring project documentation, reporting, financial tracking, and site coordination activities are completed efficiently. The role will support project managers across the local portfolio and act as a key link between project, operations, and site teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support project activities across multiple infrastructure projects
- Organise meetings, agendas, project schedules, and action tracking
- Take meeting minutes and maintain project documentation
- Manage and update project records, risk logs, and reporting documentation
- Support project financial administration, including budget tracking, PO and invoice validation, and reporting deviations
- Produce project status reports for stakeholders and senior management
- Support project preparation activities, access requests, work permits, and project administration
- Monitor and follow up on health & safety actions on-site
- Liaise with project managers, operations teams, contractors, and stakeholders
- Ensure documentation is audit-ready and maintained to company standards
- Drive continuous improvement through lessons learned and process feedback
Musts:
- Previous experience as a Project Coordinator, PMO Coordinator or Project Support professional
- Experience supporting construction, infrastructure, engineering or technical projects
- Strong coordination, administration and organisational skills
- Experience using Microsoft Project, SharePoint and Excel
- Experience managing project documentation, meeting minutes, action logs and reporting
- Fluent English
- Able to work 5 days per week in office in Brussels
- Comfortable working in a structured, process-driven environment
Pluses:
- Data centre experience
- Experience within energy, life sciences, semiconductor or similar technical construction environments
- Exposure to mechanical and electrical projects
- Dutch and/or French language skills
- AutoCAD knowledge
- Project management certifications (Prince2, PMP, IPMA, etc.)
- Knowledge of health & safety processes on construction sites
