Business Analyst – Clinical Application Specialist
Overview
The Business Analyst - Clinical Application Specialist will support the growth and development of our industry leading healthcare software and services. They will provide ongoing support and guidance to our customers, identify business and clinical improvement opportunities, and build strong stakeholder relationships by drawing on their clinical/technical experience and knowledge.
The Business Analyst - Clinical Application Specialist will be involved with various projects and directives including software development, onboarding for new customers, application roadmap development and quality improvement.
The Business Analyst - Clinical Application Specialist will have:
Proficient IT application skills(specific training and education on the application will be provided)
Thorough understanding of healthcare
Working knowledge and practical experience with business analysis methodologies
Strong training, learning and teaching skills
Excellent communication and customer relations skills
This position is fully remote and travel to customer sites is required occasionally.
Reports to
This position reports to the Clinical Lead/General Manager
Responsibilities
The following responsibilities cover the core activities of the role but are not limited to these alone.
Conduct business analyst activities that document current state, future state and impact of changes utilising proven processes, systems and use case models
Liaise with the broader team identifying areas of opportunity and improvement
Communicate with customers and the broader team to ensure positive relationships
Identify and support development of new opportunities for potential product improvements and projects
Utilise a quality framework to conduct all activities
Coordinate and conduct customer-based training and related resources (such as self-help tools)
Understand and document effectively clinical workflow for diverse healthcare settings
Provide local/onsite support for customers as required including training
Conduct account management activities including setup, process and policy development
Support onboarding processes and initial sales/tender enquiry responses
Provide support to recent and current customers, plus the internal MMEx Customer Support team
Essential Skills and Experience
4+ years' experience in similar role
Bachelor’s Degree – strong clinical or technical background preferred
Experience in the Healthcare industry, specifically working with clinical applications / digital health
Proven experience working autonomously and proactively as part of a geographically dispersed team
Excellent written and spoken communication skills and interpersonal skills
High attention to detail and the ability to switch focus as business demands change
Must have a 'can-do' attitude and be prepared to support the needs of a professional team
We are a geographically diverse team who are predominately remote workers. The Business Analyst - Clinical Application Specialist candidate is preferred to be located in Victoria,NSW or Queensland to support our growing customer base in these regions.
