Qualification & experience

Electrical Engineering Technician Skills and Qualifications:

- Assisting Electrical Engineers and Engineering Technologists in design and layout of electrical installations,
- Inspecting designs and finished products for compliance with specifications and regulations,
- Testing electrical equipment and the electrical equipment,
- Testing and tagging the electrical equipment to meet Australian standards,
- repairing electrical equipment and installations to conform with regulations and safety requirements, as per Australian standards and to the manufacturer recommendations,



while maintaining the integrity of our client relationships.

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

- Formal qualifications as an Electrical Engineering Technician, or equivalent (Tertiary, technical or trade qualification mandatory)
- Previous experience working in the Electrical Engineering Technician field preferred.
- A current non-restricted Driver’s license and car
- Knowledge of the relevant Australian Standards.
- Self-motivation.
- Intermediate computer hardware and software skills.
- A strong commitment to high quality care and customer service.
- The ability to work as part of the team, as well as working by yourself.
- Excellent communication skills with clinical staff, customers and fellow employees.
- The ability to lift 20 -25 Kg.
- The ability to communicate effectively via both verbal and written communications.
- Proof of double Covid 19 vaccination is required to work within our client’s healthcare facilities as per government mandates.
