Sexual Health Clinical Nurse Specialist | Orange | $10K incentives offered

The dedicated Sexual Health Team at Orange Health Service makes a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals and communities across the region. Based at Kite Street Community Health Centre, this rewarding role provides expert, patient-centred care to people with reproductive and sexual health needs, including STI, HIV and blood-borne virus prevention, management and education.

As a Clinical Nurse Specialist Grade 2, you will:

- Deliver advanced nursing care, comprehensive assessments, health education and advocacy while supporting priority populations and contributing to outreach services throughout the region

- Work within a small multidisciplinary sexual health team and the broader community health network

- Undertake venepuncture and other specimen collection on clients

- Provide sexual health screening and management as per local and state policies, procedures and guidelines





- Undertake contact tracing and client and partner follow up as indicated

- Develop, implement and evaluate complex care management to meet the needs of clients with STIs and BBVs

- Provide clinical leadership, mentor colleagues, and help drive excellence in evidence-based practice.

This is an opportunity to work autonomously in a specialised, nurse-led service while being supported by a solid district-wide team. The position is based in Orange with outreach responsibilities and offers a Monday to Friday roster, 8:00am to 4:30pm, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
