We are currently looking for a Workplace Health & Safety/Rehabilitation Officer to join our Head Office team, reporting to the WHS Manager.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being on the floor, working alongside operations, and playing a key role in strengthening safety culture across a diverse, fast-paced business.

About the Role

This is not a desk-based compliance role.

You’ll be working closely with leaders, supervisors and teams across manufacturing, warehousing and installation environments to:

- Drive practical safety improvements
- Support leaders to take ownership of safety
- Contribute to the rollout of our national WHS strategy

What You’ll Be Doing

- Partner with leaders to build and embed a strong, positive safety culture
- Conduct incident investigations and identify practical,



effective controls
- Review and improve Safe Work Procedures to ensure they reflect real work practices
- Support risk assessments, audits and site inspections
- Assist with injury management and return to work processes
- Monitor training and competency compliance
- Support contractor management and consultation processes
- Contribute to continuous improvement of WHS systems and practices
- Occasional interstate travel may be required

What We’re Looking For

- Experience in WHS within manufacturing, warehousing, construction or similar high-risk environments 4years+
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage frontline workers and leaders
- Practical, solutions-focused approach to safety
- Ability to build relationships and influence positive change
- Good organisational skills and attention to detail

Qualifications:

- Cert IV in Work Health & Safety (essential)
- Return to Work Coordinator (desirable)
- Fire Safety Advisor (desirable)
