About the role+
The role can accommodate an Oral Health Therapist or Hygienist at any stage of their professional journey.
An experienced practitioner would benefit from joining a developed and proficient hygiene department with motivated patients and the ability to create a dental home in a supportive environment
A new graduate would benefit from training and mentorship from experienced practitioners who can support their growth as they develop their clinical and communication skills
Collaborate with Dentists to provide accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Provide high quality dental hygiene procedures equipped with the latest technology including Airflow, intra oral cameras, scanners and OPG & CBCT technology
Conduct oral health assessments and educate patients
Days and hours negotiable

Our Hygiene/OHT department is a highly successful,
integral part of our practice and we pride ourselves on consistently providing exceptional patient care.
Our up-to-date rooms are located in the heart of Newcastle, close to beaches and surrounded by cafes and shops.
You will work alongside a team of Dentists, OHT's, Hygienists and Assistants in a friendly, flexible, caring and supportive environment.

The successful candidate will:
Have a recognised Bachelor’s degree with current AHPRA registration
Be clinically driven and competent in all aspects of your role
Be patient focused with a genuine passion for dentistry
Adhere to correct infection control procedures
A team player with excellent communication skills
Contribute to the continuing growth and success of the practice
