Senior Project Manager - Electrical Contracting

D.Frame Electrical is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager - Electrical Contracting to join our growing team in Unanderra, NSW. This is a full-time position that offers a unique opportunity to lead complex electrical contracting projects and make a significant impact on our operations. As Senior Project Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project delivery, from initial planning through to successful completion, whilst managing teams, budgets, and stakeholder relationships. This role is pivotal to our continued success and growth within the electrical contracting industry.

Key responsibilities

- Plan, schedule and coordinate electrical contracting projects to ensure timely and on-budget delivery
- Manage project teams, including subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with safety standards and quality requirements
- Develop and maintain detailed project budgets, forecasts and cost controls throughout the project lifecycle
- Prepare and present project reports, progress updates and performance metrics to senior management and clients
- Manage client relationships and communications, ensuring expectations are met and exceeded
- Identify, assess and mitigate project risks and implement corrective actions when required
- Ensure all works comply with relevant legislation, industry standards, and D.Frame Electrical policies and procedures
- Coordinate site inspections and quality assurance activities to maintain high standards of workmanship
- Manage project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications and safety plans




- Mentor and develop junior project staff to support succession planning within the team

What we’re looking for

- Minimum 3+ years' experience in project management within electrical contracting or a related construction field
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, installation methods and relevant safety regulations
- Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities with the capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office applications
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to project sites as required
- Knowledge of WHS legislation, particularly as it applies to construction and electrical work
- Relevant qualifications such as an Electrical Trade Qualification/Project Management or equivalent industry certifications would be highly valued
- Experience with project budgeting, cost estimation and financial forecasting
