LANOTEC is an Australian owned and operated company providing high-performance lanolin-based lubricants, corrosion protection, cleaning and maintenance solutions across a broad range of industries.

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Business Development Manager to manage and grow our Victorian territory.

This is a work-from-home and field-based role for someone who enjoys getting in front of customers, building strong relationships and identifying new business opportunities.

The Role

Reporting to the Director, you will manage existing customers and resellers while actively developing new business throughout Victoria.

Key responsibilities include:

- Maintain and grow existing customer and reseller relationships
- Identify and convert new business opportunities
- Manage customer visits, call plans and follow-up activities
- Conduct product and sales training throughout our reseller network
- Undertake joint customer calls with reseller representatives
- Develop opportunities across industrial, trade, automotive, marine, agricultural and related markets
- Attend relevant trade shows and industry events
- Travel regionally throughout Victoria, approximately 5 to 7 nights per month, or as required
- Maintain customer and opportunity information within our CRM
- Identify customer applications, product demonstrations and success stories that can support LANOTEC’s marketing and social media
- Work closely with our sales and marketing teams to support continued growth

About You

You’ll ideally have experience in business development, territory management or technical sales, along with solid relationship-building and communication skills.

You’ll be confident developing new business, managing your own territory and working with customers face-to-face.





Experience within industrial, automotive, agricultural, marine, hardware, trade or reseller markets would be advantageous, but the right attitude, commercial ability and relationship-building skills are equally important.

A current Australian driver’s licence and willingness to travel throughout regional Victoria are required.
