What you’ll be doing

If you enjoy variety keep reading. You’ll manage the design,development and implementation of a suite of services and programswhich reflect the Y WA’s Approach to Youth Work and Counselling.You’ll also keep abreast of potential new service opportunities,identifying youth & community needs and partnership possibilities.However ultimately, you’ll stand behind your team and lead withinspiration, providing endless guidance, support and opportunityfor growth and development.

Although let’s not forget the nitty-gritty. You’ll work withyour three Youth Services Coordinators to develop services that aresafe, welcoming and fun to all young people, whilst managing theoperational requirements including budget management contractadministration,



funding submissions, program evaluation andreporting.

You’ll be great in this role if you have

- Demonstrated experience leading and developinghigh-performing teams in a fast-paced working environment
- Extensive experience managing youth, community or relatedprograms and services
- Strong strategic and operational planning capability
- Proven budget management and financial acumen
- Ability to build and maintain productive partnerships withgovernment, community and funding stakeholders
- A passion for empowering young people and creating positivecommunity outcomes
- A tertiary qualification in Youth Work, CommunityDevelopment, Social Sciences, Human Services or relateddiscipline
- Excellent written communication and reporting skills
- Current unrestricted Driver's Licence
- Current Working with Children Check and National PoliceClearance, or willingness to obtain
