Help Deliver Christmas Across Victoria

Christmas Display Solutions is one of Australia's leading providers of commercial Christmas displays, decorations, festive installations, and seasonal experiences.

We partner with shopping centres, councils, commercial property groups, hotels, corporate clients, and public spaces to create memorable festive experiences that engage visitors and transform environments.

As we ramp up for the season, we are seeking physically fit and strong General Installers to help build and pack down Christmas displays throughout Melbourne and regional Victoria, beginning late October.

This is a genuine general labour role - lifting, carrying, building, and problem-solving on site, day after day.

About the Role

You’ll work as part of an installation crew, lifting and positioning Christmas trees, carrying equipment and stock, and helping assemble displays on site from late October to early December- then returning in late December through to mid-January to pack it all down again.

Shifts run during the day or overnight, with shifts of up to 10 hours common. You’ll either meet the team at our warehouse to travel to site together, or make your own way to each job.

Experienced installers may also be considered for team leader or project management roles within the company.

Key Responsibilities

- Lift, carry, and position Christmas trees, structures, and display equipment.
- Load and unload stock and equipment at the warehouse and on site.
- Undertake sustained heavy manual handling throughout each shift.
- Work efficiently as part of a team to keep each install moving.
- Assemble and build display structures using hand and power tools.




- Follow instructions and site plans accurately.
- Problem-solve on the spot when something doesn't go to plan.
- Handle decorations and equipment carefully to avoid damage.
- Carefully dismantle displays from late December through to mid-January.
- Pack decorations and equipment correctly for storage and re-use.
- Report any damaged stock for repair or replacement.

About You

You’re physically fit and strong, comfortable with hand and power tools, and happy to put in a hard day's work. You take instruction well, think on your feet, and get the job done as part of a team.

- Physically fit and robust — the role involves sustained heavy lifting.
- Comfortable and confident using hand and power tools.
- Takes instruction well and follows direction.
- Good communication skills and a helpful team player.
- Flexible and adaptable — able to resolve issues quickly and keep each install seamless.

Highly Desirable

- Experience in labouring, construction, warehousing, or events installation.
- A current Forklift or EWP licence (not essential).
- Availability across both the October–December install period and the January dismantle.
- Working with Children Check or ability to gain the accreditation .
