Looking for a stable, long-term opportunity with a growing Australian manufacturing business? We’re seeking an experienced Welder / Fabricator in Western Sydney on a temp-to-permanent basis.
This role offers consistent hours, a clean workshop environment, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position with a well-established manufacturer specialising in custom metal fabrication.
What’s on Offer?
- Up to $40 per hour + super (dependent on experience)
- Temp-to-permanent opportunity
- Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
- Ongoing, stable work with overtime available when required
- Supportive team environment
- Western Sydney location with onsite parking
Key Responsibilities
- MIG and TIG welding of aluminium and stainless steel components
- Fabrication and assembly of custom metal products
- Reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Grinding, polishing and finishing work to a high standard
- Quality checking finished products
- Maintaining a safe and organised work area
About You
- Proven experience in both MIG and TIG welding
- Solid background working with aluminium and stainless steel
- Ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings
- High attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable with a strong work ethic
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Desirable
- Experience within sheet metal or custom fabrication environments
- Forklift licence
- Experience operating fabrication equipment and workshop machinery
