Aurizon is offering an exciting Trainee Shunter prospect at our Avon depot (Northam, WA). This structured program provides practical hands-on rail operations experience and a nationally recognised qualification in rail operations (shunting), with a clear path to a long-term career at Australia’s largest rail freight operator.

As a trainee you’ll learn to control train movements, inspect for faults, support locomotive maintenance and brake testing, and communicate with depot staff.
