What does a Blok Freight driver do?

We have positions available for drivers with Australian Driver Licences from C Class through to HR , including:

Courier / Van Delivery Drivers – C Class Licence

Experience in courier, freight, delivery, warehousing or transport is advantageous; however, training will be provided to the right candidates.

What does a Blok Freight Driver do?

As a driver with Blok Freight, you will be the friendly face of our business and an important part of our success.

You will be responsible for safely and efficiently delivering and collecting freight while providing excellent customer service to our customers across the Northern Rivers and surrounding areas.

Your day may include:

Sorting parcels and planning your delivery route.

Loading and unloading freight safely and efficiently.

Completing multi-drop deliveries and pickups.

Delivering consignments in full, safely and on time.

Safely operating company vehicles and completing daily vehicle checks.

Using handheld scanners to complete deliveries and pickups.

Operating tailgate loaders and trolley jacks where required.

Handling parcels, pallets and bulk freight.

Ensuring freight is secured correctly before transport.





Maintaining accurate delivery and pickup records.

Taking pride in your vehicle and keeping it clean and presentable.

Providing friendly and professional customer service.

Working as part of a team to ensure daily operations run smoothly.

Typical working hours are approximately 7:00am – 4:00pm , Monday to Friday, depending on the position, depot and daily workload.

Since 1992, Blok Freight has been servicing the Northern Rivers with time‑critical parcel express and bulk freight services.

Blok Freight is a family and locally owned company with ambitious plans for continued growth.

We operate from facilities in Lismore and Murwillumbah , with a fleet of approximately 60 vehicles servicing Northern NSW and South East Queensland , including Brisbane, the Gold Coast and Sydney.

You will be joining a can‑do team who share a passion for providing great service, supporting our customers and delivering on our commitments.

Your Skills & Experience

We are looking for people who:

Are reliable, punctual and have a strong work ethic.

Are self‑starters who can manage their workload efficiently.

Hold a current Australian driver's licence – C Class through to HR , depending on the position.





Have a safe driving history.

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Have strong attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.

Are physically fit and able to repeatedly lift and carry freight.

Are comfortable being on your feet for the majority of the day.

Can work independently as well as part of a team.

Have a professional and customer‑focused attitude.

Have previous delivery, courier, transport, warehousing or freight experience (advantageous but not essential).

Pre‑Employment Requirements

Successful applicants will be required to complete:

Pre‑Employment Health & Physical Assessment.

Drug & Alcohol Screening.

Licence and driving history checks.

Relevant employment and reference checks.

All pre‑employment testing is employer supplied.
