Early Childhood Diploma Educator - Full Time Room Leader

About the role

Our service is seeking a reliable, experienced and passionate Room Leader to join our supportive and professional team. We are looking for an Educator who is confident in leading a team, building strong relationships with children and families, and creating an engaging environment where children feel safe, supported and inspired to learn. This position is based in our Toddler Room (12 months–3 years), where you will take responsibility for the day-to-day leadership of the room, and supporting learning and care. You will also work collaboratively across the service, contributing to a positive, consistent and connected workplace.

Key responsibilities

- Support children aged 12 months to 5 years in a nurturing, inclusive and empowering environment
- Contribute to the planning cycle,



including observations, programming, and evaluation of children's learning experiences (OWNA)
- Demonstrate high quality practice aligning with EYLF and NQS
- Communicate and engage positively with children and families
- Work effectively as part of a team, demonstrating flexibility, initiative, and willingness to support others

About you

- Diploma of Early Childhood Education and Care (or CERT3 candidates willing to work towards a Diploma qualification)
- Minimum of 12 months experience working in an ECEC setting with children 0-5 years
- NSW Working with Children Check
- Police check (have or willing to obtain)
- Child Protection CHCPRT025 certificate
- National Child Safety Training certificate (geccko)
- Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma training
- Positive, proactive approach and genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development
- Flexibility with rostering
- Experience as a Responsible Person desirable
