Nobby Kitchens is seeking an experienced Kitchen Installer to join our team on a contract basis . Based in Newcastle NSW 2300, this role is pivotal to delivering exceptional kitchen installations that exceed our clients' expectations. As a Kitchen Installer, you will be responsible for the professional installation, fitting, and finishing of custom kitchens in residential properties. This position offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects whilst maintaining the highest standards of craftsmanship and customer service that Nobby Kitchens is known for.

Key responsibilities

- Install kitchen cabinetry, benchtops, and associated fixtures with precision and attention to detail and ensuring cleanliness of work on completion.
- Prepare work sites by protecting floors, walls, and existing structures during installation
- Inspect completed work to identify and rectify any defects or discrepancies
- Maintain clear communication with the Nobby installation team regarding project progress, timelines, and any necessary modifications required.
- Maintain all tools and equipment in good working order and transport them safely between job sites

What we look for

- Proven experience as a Kitchen Installer or similar carpentry role within the domestic sectors
- Competency in reading and interpreting design plans and technical drawings
- Proficiency with hand and power tools relevant to kitchen installation.
- Sound understanding of building regulations, safety standards, and workplace health and safety requirements
- Strong measuring and spatial awareness skills with an eye for precision and detail




- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively whilst meeting project deadlines
- Excellent problem‑solving skills to adapt to varying site conditions and unforeseen challenges
- Skilled communication skills and a customer‑focused approach
- Current driver's licence and reliable transport to access various job sites across the Newcastle and Hunter region
- Preferably, relevant qualifications or certifications in carpentry, cabinetry, or building trades
- Previous experience with modern kitchen design trends and premium cabinetry systems is desirable
