We are currently seeking an experienced TIG Welder to join a busy fabrication team based in Penrith.
This role involves working primarily with stainless steel, fabricating and welding components for a major stadium project, including handrails and other architectural metalwork.
We are looking for a skilled and reliable welder with strong TIG welding experience, excellent attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality finishes.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform TIG welding on stainless steel components.
- Fabricate and weld stainless steel handrails and architectural metalwork.
- Read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut, fit and prepare materials for welding.
- Ensure welds meet quality and project specifications.
- Maintain a clean and secure working environment.
- Work collaboratively with the fabrication team to meet project deadlines.
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience as a TIG Welder, particularly with stainless steel.
- Experience in stainless steel fabrication and handrail manufacturing.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
What's on Offer?
- $50 per hour
- Monday to Friday, 7:00am - 3:00pm.
- Based in Penrith, NSW.
