About the Role This contract opportunity is perfect for Mental Health RNs who enjoy working autonomously, thrive in dynamic clinical environments, and want to build experience in travel nursing.

You'll be joining a supportive interdisciplinary team providing care to consumers within an acute inpatient mental health service, including high-dependency presentations.

You'll strengthen your assessment, risk management, crisis intervention, and therapeutic engagement skills while gaining exposure to some of Australia's most unique healthcare experiences.
What You'll Be Doing

- Providing high-quality Mental Health nursing care in an inpatient setting
- Conducting comprehensive mental health assessments
- Managing acute presentations and complex clinical situations
- Supporting consumers through recovery-focused care
- Working within a High Dependency Unit (HDU)
- Participating in multidisciplinary care planning and handovers
- Maintaining accurate clinical documentation
- Building therapeutic relationships while ensuring patient safety

What We're Looking For

- Current AHPRA Registration as a Registered Nurse




- Minimum 2-3 years' recent Mental Health inpatient experience
- Experience working within a High Dependency Unit (HDU)
- Ability to work confidently with minimal supervision
- Strong risk assessment and clinical decision-making skills
- Current NT Working With Children Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
- A flexible, adaptable and positive attitude
