About the role

Backwater Pastoral Co. is seeking a full-time senior Cropping Manager as part of a mixed farming operation covering over 3000Ha's located 40km's southwest of Narromine, NSW.

Key responsibilities

- Manage cropping operations across the mixed farming operation

- Make and implement key decisions within cropping enterprises.

- Communicate with business owners and contractors.

About you

- Experience in the industry

- High ethical standards and self-motivated

- Passion towards agriculture

- Good communication skills and ability to work well independently or in a team

- Ability to operate modern farm equipment

- Current driver's license and own vehicle

- Current Chemical Accreditation

- Livestock Husbandry skills, preferable

Our cropping enterprise mainly consists of however, is not limited to Cotton, Wheat, Chickpeas, Canola and a variety of grazing/fodder crops. Narromine is a small, vibrant and welcoming rural town with most services including a valuable range of shops, cafés, pubs, clubs and sporting teams, and is only 30km from Dubbo.
