This is a fantastic opportunity for a Registered Nurse who has moved into management and enjoys combining their clinical experience with leadership and operational responsibilities.

The Role

You’ll oversee the day-to-day operations of the GP, Specialist, Allied Health and Dental services and lead a team across the service.

This is a hands-on role where your clinical background is just as significant as your management experience. You’ll work closely with the clinical team, provide support and guidance where needed, and help drive the ongoing improvement of the service.

You’ll be involved in:

- Leading and supporting clinical and administration teams
- Overseeing day-to-day health service operations
- Supporting clinicians and providing clinical guidance where required
- Recruitment, workforce planning and staff development
- Performance management and HR
- CQI, accreditation and compliance
- Medicare billing and health data
- Policies, systems and operational processes
- Budget and financial management
- Building relationships with clinicians, community and external stakeholders
- Supporting service development and future planning

To be eligible for this position, you will have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
- At least 2 years' experience in practice management or health service management
- Experience with CQI and accreditation
- Solid leadership and people management skills
- An interest in working within an Aboriginal Health Service
