We are looking for an experienced Bookkeeper / Finance Officer to join our growing group of businesses in a standalone position. The role will be part-time with flexible hours. However opportunities for Full-Time will be considered for the right candidate.
You will have ownership of the day-to-day financial administration across multiple businesses, working directly with management to ensure our accounts are accurate, payments and invoicing are managed efficiently, and financial processes are properly controlled.
Key responsibilities
- Managing Accounts Payable & Accounts Receivable
- Supplier invoices, payments and reconciliations
- Business to business invoicing and follow-up
- Processing and reconciling settlements
- Bank and account reconciliations
- Maintaining accounts in Xero
- Conducting internal financial audits and identifying discrepancies
- Reconciling information across multiple business management systems
- Assisting with reporting, month-end processes and cash flow monitoring
- Maintaining accurate financial records across multiple businesses/sites
About you
- 3+ years' bookkeeping or finance experience
- Strong Xero experience
- Proven AP/AR and reconciliation experience
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working independently and taking ownership
- Experience working across multiple businesses, entities or locations
- Confident learning and using different software systems
- Experience with accounting, inventory or other business management software will be highly regarded
- History of working in health care will be highly regarded
