Assistant Store Manager / Head Barista

- Minimum 25 hours per week, Permanent Part-time

- Early morning shifts from 4:30am & Closing shifts until 5:30pm

- Tuesday to Saturday roster

Early Bird Baristas Drive Thru, Bannockburn are currently on the search for a bright and bubbly hands-on Cafe Supervisor to join the team!

Our Café Staff members hold a vital role in the daily functioning of our small family business, focusing on tending to customer requirements, preparing food and beverages, upholding impeccable cleanliness standards and ensuring a smooth and efficient experience for all customers.

We prioritise our customers' first impressions, so we seek a Supervisor who is not only friendly, well-groomed and efficient but also possess strong English language skills and exceptional customer service. This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who genuinely enjoys hospitality, works well in a fast paced environment and takes pride in supporting a team to deliver consistently excellent coffee, food and customer service.

Requirements:

- Manager and Barista experience in a fast-paced environment is “essential”.

- Ability to supervise and provide direction for day-to-day operations of the café.

- Available Tuesday - Saturday is a must!

- Are passionate and have a love for coffee making and food preparation.





- Is reliable, punctual and committed to their agreed ongoing availability.

- Exceptional attention to detail, proactive problem-solving abilities and strong organisational skills.

- Proven ability to work both independently and as part of a team - this is very much a lead from the front position.

Additional Responsibilities:

- Craft high-quality coffee and prepare other beverages, including milkshakes and smoothies.

- Lead and support the team during shifts, creating a positive, professional and productive work environment.

- Oversee day to day cafe operations and ensure responsibilities are completed throughout the shift.

- Maintain excellent customer service standards and confidently resolve customer concerns when required.

- Lead by example with strong work ethic, communication, reliability and professionalism.

- Monitor coffee, food and service quality to ensure consistency with Early Bird standards.

- Support the training of new team members.

- Ensure opening and closing procedures, cleaning duties and daily operational checklists are completed correctly.

- Assist with shift coverage and communicate promptly when staffing issues arise.

- Work closely with Leadership team to maintain consistency and continually improve cafe operations.
