About the role

We are seeking a friendly, reliable All-Rounder / Barista to join our cafe team. The role involves preparing quality coffee, serving customers, assisting with light cooking and maintaining a clean, welcoming setting.

Key responsibilities

- Prepare and serve coffee and other beverages

- Take customer orders and process cash and EFTPOS payments

- Prepare light meals, sandwiches, toasties and other cafe food

- Maintain high standards of food presentation, hygiene and safety

- Keep the coffee station, kitchen and customer areas clean and tidy

- Wash dishes and restock supplies

- Provide efficient, friendly service during busy periods

- Work collaboratively as part of a small team

About you

- Friendly, approachable and customer focused

- Reliable, punctual and well presented

- Confident preparing coffee, or willing to learn

- Comfortable with light cooking and food preparation

- Able to work independently and as part of a team

- Organised and able to work efficiently in a fast-paced workplace

- Positive, flexible and willing to assist with general cafe duties
