Born in 1982, Sealane Food Group is an Australian owned family business. We are a food distributor that services hospitality venues like Cafes, Restaurants, Function Centres, Caterers, Hotels, Clubs & Takeaways shop in addition to independent supermarkets.

Position Description:

As part of a team of 15, you are responsible for the accurate and timely pick and load of customer orders. In addition you will provide ad hoc warehouse duties and report into the Warehouse Afternoon Manager.

How you will spend your day:

- Forklift use to perform warehouse duties.

- Pick and pack and load goods for outward deliveries across all three zones Ambient, Chiller & Freezer (-20 degrees).

- Ability to work effectively in a fast paced team setting and with general supervision exercising initiative, judgement and enthusiasm.

- Perform lifting up to 25kg.

Skills Needed:

Previous experience working in a warehouse and using a forklift is a must . On the job training will of course be provided to you and you will be extremely supported in learning the ways we like to do things here at Sealane. You will need however, to be a self-starter, someone who thrives in a fast paced environment and love being part of a team.

Hours:

We are now looking for permanent part time employees to join our team. Min hours per week will be 37.5 hours.

5 days a week.

Days of the week are: Mon/Tues/Wed/Thurs & Sundays.

Start time – 6pm and end time is minimum midnight (but can be anywhere from 12am-2am).

Award is Storage Services & Wholesale Award MA000084.
